Shweta Singh released her first song as a singer, lyricist, composer, story maker, and lead actress on 14 March 2021, marking the official beginning of her creative career.
A Dream Born Against All Odds
Born on 14 March 1997 in Sahibabad (GZB), Uttar Pradesh, Shreya belonged to a middle-class family with limited resources. Her parents wanted her to secure a stable government job, and strongly opposed her interest in modeling, acting, and singing. Despite facing emotional struggles, discouragement, and strict restrictions at home, Shreya remained focused on her dream.
Before entering the entertainment world, she had planned to pursue an MBA, get a job, and sing professionally on the side. An academically bright student, she completed her 12th in commerce and graduated with B.Com from SOL (School of Open Learning) due to financial challenges.
Struggle, Jobs & Survival Before Stardom
To support herself and her family, Shreya worked tirelessly:
- Taught school students for 3 years
- Cleared and joined a Govt. job (B.E.L)
- Later worked at Ienergizer (Noida) in 2019
- Joined HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company (Noida) in 2020
With only one day off per week, she used that day to shoot, sing, rehearse, and create content—building her dream in silence.
The Breakthrough Moment
Shreya’s artistic journey took a major turn when she met her colleague Manish Singh, who recognized her potential and introduced her to Rahul Passi, owner and artist manager at Att Bande Film Production and Music House.
This meeting became the turning point of her career.
