Kochi Hosts Yuga Mix 2026 Conclave to Empower Independent Musicians

Yuga Mix 2026 – Artist Growth Conclave, organized by Yuga Digital, was held on February 23, 2026 at Gokulam Park Hotel. The event brought together musicians, producers, industry experts, and music entrepreneurs to discuss opportunities and growth in the independent music industry. The program was curated by music entrepreneur Arun Yuga. The conclave focused on music distribution, copyright awareness, artist management, music marketing, and digital monetization. The opening ceremony featured industry personalities including Alphons Joseph, Nandhu Kartha, Jino Kunnumpurath, Jay Stellar, DJ Saint and Haritha Haribabu

A masterclass titled “Thinking Like a Musicpreneur” was led by Shreyas Bagalkot and Varish Shah. They explained how artists can build careers by thinking like entrepreneurs. The panel discussion “The Indie Blueprint – Navigating the Malayalam Music Ecosystem” featured Theertha Avinash, Rajat Prakash, Ashbin Paulson, Bhadra Sandeep and Abdul Manaf. A session on Sync Licensing and Music Monetization was conducted by Sridhar J Swaminathan. Another masterclass on Building Sustainable Portfolio Careers in India’s Music Industry was delivered by Nilesh Thomas.

Legal awareness sessions were conducted by Ashwin Sathish Nair on Protect Your Music & Your Career and by Balamurali Thirumurugan on My Music, My Rights. Aiswarya Ravi also spoke about protecting music from online piracy.An industry talk titled “Inside Artist & Music Management” featured Arun Yuga, Vinayak Mohan, Vignesh Gurulal, Akhil Ramachandran, Rathul Krishna and Hrithwik Sasikumar. A workshop titled “From Algorithm to Audience” was conducted by Harrison Xavier, explaining how streaming platforms and algorithms influence music discovery.

A special Networking and Connect Corner was arranged as part of the conclave to encourage collaboration among artists and industry professionals. This session allowed musicians, producers, managers, and creative entrepreneurs to interact directly with speakers, partners, and fellow participants. The networking space helped attendees exchange ideas, discuss potential collaborations, and build meaningful connections within the music industry.

The event received support from several industry partners including Indian Performing Right Society, Phonographic Digital Limited, Alt Plus and MakeMyPass. Other partners included Wish 11 Studios, IdeahNex Media & Ads Pvt. Yuga Mix 2026 – Artist Growth Conclave successfully created a platform where independent artists could gain knowledge, industry insights, and professional connections. Through expert masterclasses, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, the event contributed to strengthening the independent music ecosystem. The organizers aim to continue this initiative in the future to support emerging artists and expand opportunities in the music industry.
